The animation for this is really good, but not only does this excel in animation, but also in story telling. This is probably my favorite cartoon that you've made so far, because the story really builds up, and then has a payoff. Great job, Dayonder!

Dayonder responds:

Ya really think so? I would say this is probably my least story-driven animation. But thanks!

Really smooth animation. Great job, dude!

Oh woah, you have a newgrounds now? That's cool!
I've been subscribed to you on Youtube for a while now, nice to see you here on Newgrounds!
Also, this is one of my favorite videos that you've made, nice job with this!

Everyone involved in this collab has lost all their integrity! This collab is NOT sarcastic! Why'd you give it such a misleading title?
To show my frustration, I'm giving you a 0/5.

P.S.
All the animators did a really great job. I enjoyed going through all the submissions!

I feel like the best animations are those that feel more like experiences rather than just a video, and this really felt like an experience. I liked the characters, the writing, ending, and I really liked Stanley's devotion towards his owner. The art and animation was also excellent, and everything was smooth, and it looked nice. The colors were also very easy on the eyes, and this cartoon was just nice to look at.
Overall, I loved this cartoon. It's one of the best cartoons I've seen in a long time. Nice work!

This is really good! You're really good at making your cartoons feel like an experience.
The jokes were funny, the animation was smooth, and the colors were nice! Great job!
I'm looking forward to what you make next!

Eh, I sort of wish I'd have picked a more vibrant color pallet, but thanks <3 I appreciate it

This was very well made! While the art style is a little simplistic, and there isn't a whole lot of shading, I'm not really gonna hold that against you because this is a very long animation (five minutes? Holy crap! That's a lot of lip sync)! The dialogue was very interesting to listen to, and this was overall very good writing. Great job! I look forward to seeing more from you!

sadakab responds:

Hey thanks so much! What a kick-ass review :) I look forward to improving the complexity as I go on for sure, this one's a big step up from the first one.

Hey, nice job! I really enjoyed the art style of this animation! It was interesting, and appealing to look at. The punchline was also funny!
Now, there were some things that I noticed. First, there wasn't any actual movement in this animation. It would really add character to the animation if maybe the main character was shivering in fear, or if the Pizza Pizza guy moved freely with broken joints to convey how goofy his character is. Next you should add shading. It would really add depth to the artwork. Lastly, the backgrounds could use a bit of work, as, for a lack of a better work, it seems muddy, and it doesn't really fit in with the art style of the characters.
But yeah. Great job on this animation, and I'm gonna follow you because I wanna see what you do next!

Hey, nice job! It was quick, funny, and not dragged out! As for constructive criticism, maybe for your next flash, you could improve your color pallet, with shading and what not. There's also some instances of perspective issues, such as at 0:19, there are two hammers, but they're not following any perspective rules.
Also, just wanted to note, this cartoon really shines in the writing, and I'm glad this joke was based off an observation because comedy seems to be funnier when it's based on observations that the writer makes.

Bottom line, great job! This was a very funny cartoon!

Hey! This is actually REALLY good for a first animation! It had a good joke that got a laugh out of me, and the expressions on the characters are really good!
Now, since this is your first animation, I suppose you're off the hook, for now, but here's some things you can improve on:

The brush size is a bit too big. Now, this is probably the smallest thing, but here's the thing, if the brush size is too big, it really doesn't look aesthetically pleasing.

Next, the coloring is a bit. . . off. Now, it's not terrible, but it looks like you used the default colors for some things. A trick I learned is, when you pick a default color, make it a bit darker. It'll look nicer that way.

Third, I noticed that you kept the camera on the woman while the man was talking, and put the camera back on the man at the end. That really came off as a, sort of, excuse for not lip syncing and animating poses. I'd recommend putting the camera on the man, and putting it on the woman to see her reaction to what the man is saying, and back at the man, and back at the woman again.

Lastly, the animation loops. This can be annoying to some, so you can either export the animation to Swivel and upload this as a video file, or add a replay button. This can easily be fixed, though.

All in all, great job! I look forward to what you make in the future, and I'm adding you to my favorites!
